Notice on the processing of personal data

This notice is provided pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and describes how the personal data of users who browse the website buildhubitalia.com and use our services is processed.

1. Data Controller

2. Types of data collected

Through our website we exclusively collect the data that the user voluntarily chooses to provide via:

  • The contact form on the Contact page: full name, email address, phone number, services of interest and message content.

If the user accepts analytics cookies through the dedicated banner, we also collect browsing data in aggregate and anonymous form through Google Analytics 4 (GA4): anonymised IP address, user agent, pages visited, session duration and traffic source. Such data does not allow user identification and is not used for profiling.

We use technical cookies essential for the functioning of the website (which do not require consent) and analytics cookies installed exclusively with user consent. For more information please refer to the Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes of processing

The personal data provided voluntarily by the user is processed for the following purposes:

  • To respond to information and consultation requests sent via the contact form.
  • To fulfil any pre-contractual, contractual and tax obligations arising from the relationship established with the user.
  • To send service communications strictly related to the user's request.
  • To perform aggregate and anonymous traffic analysis of the website to understand its usage and improve its content (only with consent to analytics cookies).

4. Legal basis

The processing of form data is based on the explicit consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), expressed by voluntarily submitting their data via the contact form and accepting this privacy notice. For contractual purposes, the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual and contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The processing of browsing data through Google Analytics is based on the data subject's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), expressed through the cookie banner pursuant to Art. 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.

5. Methods and duration of processing

Data is processed using electronic and paper-based tools, adopting adequate technical and organisational security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the data. Form data is retained for the time strictly necessary to respond to the user's request and, in any case, for a period not exceeding 24 months from the last interaction, unless legal obligations require longer retention.

Browsing data collected by Google Analytics is retained in anonymised form for a period not exceeding 2 months.

6. Communication and transfer of data

Personal data is not transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be communicated to:

  • Professionals and collaborators of Build Hub, where necessary to handle the user's request.
  • Technical service providers appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR, in particular: Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), Resend (sending of emails from the contact form) and Google (Google Analytics and Google Fonts services).
  • Public authorities, exclusively in cases provided for by law.

Browsing data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, in particular to the United States, where Google and Resend are located. Such transfers are based on adequate safeguards pursuant to Articles 44-49 GDPR, in particular Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) adopted by the European Commission and Data Processing Agreements with the providers concerned.

7. Rights of the data subject

Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, the user has the right to:

  • Obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them and its communication in an intelligible form (right of access).
  • Obtain the rectification, integration or erasure of data.
  • Obtain the restriction of processing.
  • Object to processing on legitimate grounds.
  • Receive data in a structured format (portability).
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent given before its withdrawal.

8. How to exercise rights

The user may exercise their rights at any time by writing to buildhubitalia@gmail.com. Requests will be processed within 30 days. The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

This notice may be subject to changes over time. Users are invited to periodically review this page. The date of the last update is indicated at the top of the document.
